We have been coming to Sunset Bay resort for a few years now and we absolutely love it. It’s in a very nice quiet area surrounding Lake Delton and only 10 minutes to downtown dells. The property has two pools and working hot tube and a couple of slides inside. It’s a very small resort but homely! They have a private beach and the offer free kayaks to use. They have picnic tables and grills that you are able to use anytime. Even though the rooms are a bit dated, the rooms are clean and spacious. FYI, bring a portable outlet or charging station because they don’t have any in the rooms that work. Overall, I will absolutely continue to come and stay at this property!!

Second time staying here. Amazing location and property! Has private access to Lake Delton, with kayaks and paddle boards available for use as an amenity. Property had beach access, bbq area, outdoor deck with fire pit and pool, indoor heated pool, sauna, volleyball, and swings. Went with the family room which included one room with two twin beds, room with a king bed and pull out full size sofa bed in living room. Full kitchen, one full bathroom, one half bathroom. Friendly staff, clean place, amazing long weekend. Close to all the waterparks and restaurants (less than ten min drive)

I liked the private beach but when we went in our room it was an awful odor and the carpet had a lot of spots and the hardwood floors area was filty had not been moped and we were there for 3 days and had to buy ice from the office each day there was no ironing board but when asked they did bring us one and the website says check out is at 11 but on checkout day they told us it was at 10 ....(very disappointed)

This property is more like a “motel” not a “resort” for sure. It’s old and not very well maintained! The pool area, the rooms were very poorly maintained! Their so called “private beach” is also overhyped! I would not recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a “resort” experience. They also messed up and gave us the wrong room (I booked lake facing but got parking facing) and they said it was a miss by Expedia. Overall, we had a terrible experience!
