Not bad for the price

It was a nice hotel for the price. The staff was very nice. The room was large (mostly open space). There is no phone in the room, which I found odd. The room and bedding had an odd odor (probably from the pets allowed) even though we were in a non pet room. The cleaning staff was very nice (although he saw us coming back to our room and he handed us trash bags and a towel so that he didnt have to walk up the stairs and finish our room). Our room did not get cleaned the second night we were there. Overall.....its a bargin. The hotel property is nicely kept and it was quiet. It served the purpose we needed. We had no kids with us this time and it was early March so it was fine for what we paid.

Great Value!!

Pros: free waterpark passes inexpensive
Cons: cleaner carpeting
Although from the outside, this looks like your standard motel, there was so much more. Not only did we get free waterpark passes (which more than paid for the stay itself), there were also some small amenities such as access to free board games and sports equipment. There was a small playground, tetherball, and basketball hoops as well. The room was basic but was fairly clean (except for the carpet) and had a fridge and microwave. In addition, Mark, the live-in general manager, was extremely nice and accommodating allowing us to stay an extra hour past checkout time.

LOVE this place!

Pros: EVERYTHING! Not a thing was out of place.
Location: Downtown Dells is close, we walked to the Riverwalk, restaurants, Wizard Quest and many other activities.
I came here for a weekend with my boyfriend to just have a weekend of fun in the Dells. This place has many great features, but I must say, the managers are it's best one! These people are friendly, funny, and have anticipated every need. I actually met these people at a previous hotel and instantly recognized them when I saw them again (a sure sign of their utter brilliance and true delights). I will continue to follow them anywhere they go because I know their properties will be a) immaculate b) well maintained c) welcoming and d) a complete package. When booking the room, I knew we wouldn't need much, but we wanted to be close to town; a bed and a bathroom would be sufficient for us. Accordingly, I booked a small room. Small, but pristine. The room felt brand new, and all staff were very friendly. The location was perfect-less than a mile away from the downtown area and the perfect distance for a walk. There was sports equipment and games we could check out for free (we played Frisbee on the lawn for much of an evening), in addition to the free wifi and Chula Vista passes. Like I said, they have thought of everything you could need! I will be back over and over again.
