Where do I begin? We have stayed here previously several times but this time was problematic. I arrived exhausted, in town for a funeral the next day, and there was no parking. I had to get up early the next morning (with major jetlag) to try and find parking. The only parking available the previous night was blocks away and I did not feel safe at that time of night as a female alone. Then the keys didn't work for 2 days because 'the system was down' and I had to be escorted to my room. I felt sorry for the staff who did their very best. People should be warned about the parking situation so they can stay at a hotel that has enough parking for its guests. Also, they charge for parking and that's ridiculous. Probably will never return.

Parking extremely limited and IF you can find a spot on their lot you are charged $23 for use. It is an area where is a lot of homelessness so be prepared to see a lot of tents along the River. The hotel was clean inside but there were a few bugs in our room. Not bed bugs but not exactly sure what kind.

Trendy, clean, perfect location

I was impressed immediately upon entering the lobby. It was very clean, neat and smelled great. The attendants were polite and friendly! Our room was spacious, perfectly neat and tidy! The beds were very comfortable, and even had a rope for each of us to use on them. The location was great, as we could walk to everywhere, with coffee shops, restaurants, pub and grills, and efen a barber shop nearby. The area was clean, trendy, and felt safe for us. We booked a riverside view, and were pleased with what we could see. All said, it was a great stay!! The price was fantastic!

I just needed a moderately priced place to stay for a quick, overnight visit to Winnipeg. The Mere hotel fit the bill. A modern vibe, well appointed room with a view of the River, and the very nice bistro next door was perfect for a pleasant dinner and glass of wine. There was a nice coffee shop in the morning for a cuppa and some pastry, a pleasant 3 minute's walk. Very pleased with my stay

Parking is difficult there, you have to park on the street. Quite a few hobo and sketchy people nearby coz it’s close to the downtown. But overall the facilities are great, clean, staffs are friendly. It’s also pet friendly.
