I love staying here when I come from Canada for a short getaway but this time was different, only complain is our room was super HOT! They did bring us a fan but it was still very hot. Air circulation wasn’t great! Just a bad room this time around. Also water slides & arcade were closed down first day we came !

This is a favourite of mine to stay at. It has restaurants and shopping all within e few minutes drive. It also has the casino just down the road. And a Giant Tiger store right across. Just an excellent location. The staff are very friendly every time. I love it here.

So I'm not sure exactly how this hotel chain classifies the different types of rooms that they have to offer and what criteria they are using. I recently stayed in a room with a king bed and they classify that as a standard room and a room with 2 queen beds as a deluxe room. Literally every other hotel chain in the world has made the exact opposite classification. 2 queen beds/standard, 1 king bed/deluxe/other. Not only that, but the "standard" room that I stayed in had literally the smallest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel room. When you open the door to the bathroom, the door is almost hitting the toilet and it bangs into the tub immediately after. It reminds me of the size of bathroom that you would typically see in a "standard" sized cabin of a cruise ship. Not to mention that the price of this "standard" room was only a few dollars shy of $200/night. I've stayed at $200/night hotels and this room would have been an embarrassment to their reputation, but not for the Almighty Canad Inns. They are far above all other hotel chains as I have now come to realize over the last couple of years. I've had bad experiences with Canad in the past but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and treat it as a 1 time fluke. But not anymore. Everything is overpriced & overrated at the Canad Inns. The rooms, the food at Aaltos, the service, virtually everything. Avoid this hotel chain like the plague. It's slowly turning into Manitoba Public Housing if you catch my meaning?

We booked a suite for a family gathering. The room was big enough for us and we really liked the table and 6 chairs. The kitchen facilities were wonderful.

After some last minute changes at our previous hotel we ended up at CanadInn Transcona. They were very welcoming and accommodating. Amanda at the front desk was understanding and welcoming. It was very clean and quiet. The rooms were clean. The pool and hot tub were clean and hours were great for family time.
