Rooms were clean and well-appointed but the complex is in a shoddy area as were some parts of the Inn. The hallway sounded like a playground for kids . No change rooms in the swimming pool. Expect a long walk to the elevator if your room is at the far end of the complex. The day I checked out, the Inn emailed me a bill for the room which had already been paid. Even though the name, room number and date of stay on the invoice matched mine, it was billed to a different credit card and obviously another visitor at the Inn. The front desk couldn't explain the error, blaming it on the "system." What annoyed me the most was the fact that the other visitor’s charge for the same four nights stay was over $200 less than mine. Thanks for the great deal Expedia!

Our stay was good, everything was goodexcept when we were checking out, there was a drunk msn outside making a scene and there were police, was so scary. But everything was excellent. Will definitely go back.

The layout of the room was great for a family of 5, the staff was friendly and everything was clean. Overall, I would not stay again though. Property is very dated, and smells really bad, probably because of indoor pool and outdated heating/cooling/ventilation system. The hallways were painted dark, with poor lighting… they felt very dingy and depressing. The room smelled musty and carpet and bedding felt damp. We had to turn the heat on (in the middle of summer to kill the humidity in the room. A dehumidifier would work wonders!

The hotel room itself; no sheers for window which faces back entrance. The smokers are all visible and noisy. There was no cups for making tea/coffee. The bathroom is a tight squeeze if you’re a large person. Room 104 - main floor - the doors are slamming and banging all night like are those the workers or guests? We had a very sleepless night it was terrible and we were travelling to another province. If I return, I will make sure I don’t get this room. I do like the hotel but this night was not a pleasant one. Thanks.

This hotel is fine if you are looking for an inexpensive stay in Winnipeg. We stayed at the Canad Inn at the casino and it was a much nice hotel. This was fine but next time we would probably spend the extra money and stay at the casino location.
