Great hotel

Really nice hotel in a great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and good size. Breakfast was good but the service was slow and refilling of food was very slow. Seemed like they were understaffed for the number of guests.

Unfortunately having been a guest several years ago we found the hotel was certainly not of the same standard. The public areas looked tired and needed a refresh , the service in the bar and restaurant was slow when busy there didn’t seem to be enough staff! On the plus point the bedrooms had been renovated and were very good.

We stayed for one night, sofa bed not comfy and slept the whole night uncomfortable. We found used towels in the room and we put them outside near the door for collection. I am not sure what exactly happened on my booking because I understand I booked a family room including breakfast as I always book breakfast when travelling with children. To my surprise I was told there is no breakfast booked and the total amount for the room was different from what I booked. I had to pay for breakfast separately.

We enjoyed a nice few days in this peaceful hotel which had everything we needed. We particularly chose this hotel for its close proximity to the chair lift down the cliff to the beach ,giving a flat walkway along the beach and then back up using the lift.. Due to a landslip this lift was out of action which severely curtailed our access to the main part of Bournemouth. Due to mobility issues it was necessary to take a taxi to and from the hotel. Sadly this means we would not book this hotel again.

Family stay hotel right near beach amazing views very grand interior with lots of space to get around. Outside pool was an added pleasure especially as it was a hot day. Bar has outside patio which is lovely in the hot weather. Definitely stay again

We had a wonderful check in service and the rooms (one being a cottage) was lovely. Parking is tight in the car park and the bathrooms are clean but a bit dated but the staff are fabulous and the views and setting are wonderful!

Hotel staff were lovely but they clearly didn’t have enough staff, especially in the restaurant. Breakfast in particular was chaotic at the weekend as there wasn’t enough staff serving. We stayed in a cottage which was a great size but needed a refurb. The taps on the bathroom sink turned around, the shower was very noisy on a low setting, the electrics were also suspect. Expected more for the money we paid.
