Check-in was easy and we loved seeing the fireplace going when we entered the hotel. It was decorated in the fashion of a wooded lodge, which was a reason we chose it. The girl helping us at the desk was sweet and even gave us the name of a good pizza place that would deliver to our room. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We were on the 1st floor close to front area of hotel but you couldn’t tell because our room was so quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with various choices such as waffles, eggs, bacon, yogurt etc… A very nice hotel.

Charming Place

Nice cabin feel

The staff member who checked us in was friendly. The lobby gave a cabin feel and It was cozy. The room was clean and decent. The floor and walls were a bit thin. You could feel the floor shake if you were on the second floor. There was a small crack in the bathroom floor. Nothing too major.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times. It is a favorite of ours. My only "beef" is the hidden fees associated with your reservation. While Expedia does mention there may be added fees when you check in, Why is this such a secret? It appears you are getting a great deal, when in fact it ends up being $15-$20 more than you were quoted. Just be upfront so that it is clear what the charge will be.
