We were attracted to the nostalgia & convenience of this motel. Overall it met our needs but is overdue for some upgrades to the bathroom/shower facilities. It was clean, well kept & cozy. Felt like home away from home. The staff was very friendly & accomadating.

This is a true Route 66 motel. It's very nice. My only "issue" is the air conditioner in my room and has a mind of its own, and while it's cool outside, it's not in my room. I am staying here on my trip home in a couple of weeks, and I am looking forward to it!

The staff was friendly, even called my sister-in-law to say she left an item after she checked out. It fits perfectly with the theme of Route 66 that the city of Williams has made their own. The room had an old fashioned metal key. Very clean and fresh inside. The outside is rustic, but I felt that was part of the 1950’s theme. Easy walk around old town!

We were visiting the Grand Canyon so this was a good location and the price was very reasonable. Beds were very comfortable. Directly across the street is a great coffee shop. I would suggest better lighting in the room and perhaps a deadbolt to make people feel more secure. We had no issues with security.

Nostalgia and Convenience

We wanted an authentic and nostalgic stay while in Williams, AZ and we found that in the Arizona 9 motel. Nothing says Route 66 quite like this blast from the past and we’re glad we gave it a shot. This isn’t the Ritz or even the Holiday Inn but what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in charm.

It’s on Rte. 66 in Williams, AZ, a lovely vintage western town. Hotel is a vintage motor lodge. Biggest complaint is no hot water in the shower. It seems like you can’t turn the knob to full hot. Also, with modern day need to charge electronics, outlets are scarce or hidden. WIFI substandard. However, vintage town, vintage hotel. We loved Williams.
