"Room was exceptionally spacious with sofa and balcony. Swimming pool was quiet, relaxing and water temperature and was just right. Daily cleaning was excellent. Cleaner very helpful. The stand out was the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and comprehensive. We dined each evening of our seven night stay. The range of food on the menu was impressive and the quality first class. Obviously a very accomplished chef. Restaurant staff could not have been more helpful and cheerful. They showed it was a happy place to work. I hope this review may encourage readers to enjoy a stay at this hotel as we have enjoyed. "

"Good location in a lovely village with lots of nice walking routes and easy to visit Cochem, Trier and other places in the region. Hotel is clean and room was spacious. Old plumbing means there was a lot of noise when the next door room flushed the toilet or took a shower. Owners were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had good options and always looked fresh. If you want to use the thermal spa (less than a 10 minute walk), ask for a guest pass at reception as you get an extra hour for free (3 hours for the price of 2). Parking very limited but it was quiet when we were there so we were always able to park at the hotel. Overall, a nice location and property to spend a couple of nights."
