Stay Here at Your Peril
Bottom line: why stay here when you have 50 options in the area and probably 90% are better?. A lot of issues can be helped by a proactive management that will go out of their way keep the customer satisfied despite some problems. Not here. The daytime manager was smug to the point of rude, indifferent as if the problems were our fault and only reluctantly would he accept responsibility and do anything to solve any issue. One person? Sunny? was very helpful and apologetic and did his best always. The other guy was an annoying condescending jerk. Great way to greet new guests. When we told him we had bed bugs, he didn't believe us and after we left he went to the room so he could accuse us and say there weren't any. Huh? We have videos and photos. Never in my life have i had bedbugs even in dives I'd stay in while vagabonding across EUROPE on $5/day. Let's see. Want to exercise in their 15x15 gym. Well, bring a jump rope because 3 of the 4 main machines were broken and no attention to repairs made. Internet in room. Free! Too bad it doesn't work. Cleaning the room? Two days we opted not to clean it, 2 days we would have liked it clean..but they must have forgot. Almost forgot about cockroaches in the bathroom. Hey- they don't bite, just freak you out at 3 AM. Then a minor issue with the dead gecko on the floor for 5 days. . Food..marginal. very. But! Car wasn't broken into! There was hot water! Free curry smell in the hall but no free food.. That's it. 50 other options wait
