REVIEW: I travel A LOT and this hotel was just wonderful. I can honestly say that it's better than many of the 5-star hotels that I've stayed in. Very hospitable staff that are happy to see you. My room was clean with a great bed and bedding. Everything looked new, or well cared for. For the ladies out there: the bathroom mirror was great for putting your makeup on. Nice and bright. I know this may not seem like a thing, but that stood out for me. Parking lot was well lit and secure. Great since I was travelling alone. Nice breakfast too! Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not exceed expectations. While we understand your frustration with the wet floor, our ground floor rooms are subject to this condition in the event that their is a torrential down pour of rain in Wichita Falls, Texas -- which is exactly what had happened the day before your arrival. We intentionally do not rent our ground floor rooms after a flood, unless insisted upon by our guests, for this very reason. We do apologize you experienced this phenomenon with our hotel.
