Not a bad stay for the price. Our room wasn't very clean. The end tables and small dining table had food and drink stuff left from previous guests. Room had a weird smell, but it was a place to sleep.

REVIEW: I travel A LOT and this hotel was just wonderful. I can honestly say that it's better than many of the 5-star hotels that I've stayed in. Very hospitable staff that are happy to see you. My room was clean with a great bed and bedding. Everything looked new, or well cared for. For the ladies out there: the bathroom mirror was great for putting your makeup on. Nice and bright. I know this may not seem like a thing, but that stood out for me. Parking lot was well lit and secure. Great since I was travelling alone. Nice breakfast too! RESPONSE: Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay at our hotel. Couple of the ground rooms flood from the exterior. Sidwalk drains into rooms instead of away from the building. First room was completely musty and moldy. Second room, the carpeting was soaked from wall to bed. Ground floor walls basically do not have adequate drainage away from the building and water pools against the stucco walls getting under the base plate.

While we understand your frustration with the wet floor, our ground floor rooms are subject to this condition in the event that their is a torrential down pour of rain in Wichita Falls, Texas -- which is exactly what had happened the day before your arrival. We intentionally do not rent our ground floor rooms after a flood, unless insisted upon by our guests, for this very reason. We do apologize you experienced this phenomenon with our hotel.

The bathrooms have no ventilation so the rooms were musty and damp. must be why when we checked in the room had a heavy deodorant smell.

Standard comfort in, nothing really special about it. Didn’t like the overwhelming smell of “air freshener “ as soon as you walk in the building.
