Just needed somewhere for one night. Cheaper than everywhere else. Friendly welcome from staff. Room was newly decorated and clean. We parked in the carpark nearby which was £7 for the night. Lovely stay.

I got the room at a cheap price so wasn't expecting much, but in all fairness it was fine, the only issue I had was some foreign speaking people talking very loud in the room next door at 1am and chopping food up kept us awake and had me wondering who is staying in the hotel?

A clean, quiet hotel, passed its payday. Our room was a little old fashioned, but scrupulously clean, bed very comfortable with a good clean shower and toilet. The hotel goes not offer food and a lot of the common areas are unused and not illuminated. Helpful staff and free parking. About 7 minutes walk to the winter gardens/pier

Booked for my daughter and her Dad to stay. Upon arrival they were sent to a different building. The whole stay didnt feel safe. No staff. Police were called numerous times to the building because of an angry man trying to access all the rooms. Still no staff attended whilst this happened. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!

Don't go there! Booked a room at The Savoy but was marched five doors down to a slum formerly called The Birchfield (name now covered up with sticky tape). TV hanging off the wall, curtains falling away, disgusting bathroom. One to avoid.

The room was very clean, comfortable bed. All my basic needs for a one stop, just driving by. Staff were very friendly felt safe as single woman traveler. They could not do enough with any requests. I wished the TV was bigger and a working Arial signal was in the room. But I was not in the room much so it never really mattered. There was parking, luckily just outside the door. Would stay again if I visited.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel at very last minute. For the money we paid for the night it was okay £46. Nothing fancy but adequate for our needs. Bed was made and clean. We were on the top floor with a sea view, which was very warm. No air con. If you want fancy this hotel is not for you. If you want a place to put your head down cheaply then it's fine. There are no airs and graces.

Imagine paying in advance and turning up with receipts, booking confirmation, the bank card you booked it on,to be told that I can't stay because you don't have photo ID , and then refused a refund. Well that's what happened to me.....absolute joke of a company. Avoid at all cost is what I'm telling my friends .
