The Woodspring is fine for what it is, a relatively inexpensive place to stay. The place is clean, staff is OK, and rooms spartan, but functional. It is right near a very useful bus stop, with buses running directly to either downtown or the airport.

No issues at all. Easy check in and out. Was quiet on the 4th floor and the room was good. Really the best deal in the area considering the median price was 400-450 a room elsewhere but there aren't many restaurants within walking distance. For those interested in sports bars, Duffys over the turnpike was 1/2 mile, twin peaks was about 2 miles and there's a Flanagan's pretty close too but never went there. The hotel is 4.5 miles from the Nationals/Astros stadium.

Front desk staff was pleasant, room was clean but no hangers (had to get a few from the front desk). Not very decorated, kinda cold feeling instead of warmth but overall stay was good. Some neighbors were very loud esp in the evening.
