Nice spot in Mt. Shasta

We arrived late to a very cheery check-in attendant. I have been impressed by a Best Western more than once. This one had plenty of space to walk around, stretch out, relax. I will definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful, everything was clean and well kept up. The spacious cedar interior was very welcoming and the site was very conveniently laid out so with quick easy access to restaurants and lobby. Room was very quiet, clean and comfortable with great beds and incredible mountain views. We will definitely be going back. :)

Cute hotel that is quiet and close to many hiking trails in the Mt. Shasta area. Love how there is a water-filling station for your water bottle. Overall an enjoyable experience, especially when checking in. The lady who helped us was warm and welcome. During our stay, we noticed our TV remote wasn’t working and the fridge wouldn’t get super cold. Since we only used the room to sleep, it didn’t really bother us so we didn’t let the front desk know. During our checkout, we mentioned these to the lady helping us at the front desk so they can be fixed for the next travelers staying in the room. She gave us quite an attitude and made us feel like we committed a serious crime for not letting them know earlier. That kind of ruined the vibe of an almost perfect stay so had to take away a star for that.

I can’t believe how much we paid to stay at this old motel. The rooms are small, dark, and outdated. The carpet in our room was soaking wet and the remote for the TV didn’t work, but we were only staying for one night so we just dealt with it. Unfortunately, there’s not many other options in the area.
