The worst ever! Place was dirty, lacking basic amenities and supplies. Finishes on walls and furniture were shabby. No ice, no coffee, no internet. Sheets were badly stained. The place needs to be closed for renovation or demolished.

Old worn carpeting with many holes exposing concrete floor. Burn holes in bed cover. Roaches in bath. Very shabby.

Completely run down. Wallpaper falling off the walls. Carpets not vacuumed. Couple yelling and screaming and slamming doors next to us.

Well i tried to check in to travelodge but my room was not available so they sent me to their sister property instead. i was given 3/4 different room keys because 3 didn't work. ran out of toilet paper and towels. No mini fridge or a microwave. I would never send my cat or dog to stay there let alone a human being.

Awful

My reserved room was given away and there were no more vacancies so I was sent across to the parking lot to the Days Inn that was also owned by the group managing Travelodge. They had to downsize my bed selection, but offered nothing to offset my inconvenience. The staff didn't even apologize that my reservation wasn't held. They made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience for them which I found extremely irritating - I had already paid my entire stay in advance and they were treating me like it was my fault that they double booked my room. The room itself was tiny and bug infested. I saw cockroaches and spiders daily. The outlets were worn out and plugs just kept falling out of the outlets. I was worried about charging my electronics with such bad connections. The door key never worked with the first try. A member of the cleaning crew showed me that I needed to quickly swipe my door key several times to get the door to unlock. The inroom safe didn't work, but I wasn't comfortable leaving valuables in that room anyway. This was one of the worst stays I've ever had. I stuck around simply because I couldn't afford to go elsewhere and was under enough stress due to the trip itself. I didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to end my stay there early and try to get a partial refund to go somewhere else. I went in with low expectations, but was hoping I'd at least be treated with some decency considering how much money I had already paid.

Roach Hotel

Location: Silver Springs itself was nice. Plenty of eateries. Right next door and a straight shot into DC.
Literally a roach hotel. Travelodge would be well advised to remove their name from this dump. Sink was clogged. Mini pillows. Trash behind the bed. TV reception was bad. I didn't take a shower or leave anything in the drawers for fear of taking home these little critters. Slept with my clothes on. Got the hell out of at daybreak. Zero stars.
