I liked the spacious room, the refrigerator and microwave. I didn’t like the fact there was only one comfortable chair fit 2 guests and a desk chair. However, I was glad there was an ottoman. When you have two people in a room, one person is uncomfortable and unable to completely relax for most of the stay, unless you were in that comfy bed, which we liked. The room was in okay shape except for the peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, but the corridor and elevator were very tired looking. The elevators looked like freight elevators inside with broken tiles and marked up walls and the hallways needed to be vacuumed. No instruction manual was available so we had to call the desk to get someone to help us work the television and it would have been nice to have an extra blanket and pillow handy instead of having to call for one in the middle of the night. The staff was friendly and professional, which is good. However, when we walked past the front desk and new people were attending it, no one stopped us anytime to verify we were a guest. I find this ironic because you have to wait for them to buzz you into the door before you can enter the lobby, supposedly for safety reasons. But who are they letting in? They haven’t asked for a room key or anything to verify you are a guest. Seems that that procedure needs a little tweaking! Would I stay there again, is the question. Probably, but with a lot less expectation that I would expect to have considering this is a Hilton property.

Cleanliness with the sticker stating sanitized was arbitrary. My room -no sticker but checked in at 7:30pm. My daughter’s room had a sticker and she checked in after 9pm! And her TV was in plastic bag. Mines again no!

Hotel getaway

I enjoyed the stay overall, but the one particular issue I had was one of the customers was sitting in the pool on his phone. That was inappropriate uncalled for.
