"Clean hotel in a good location. We enjoyed our one night stay up to the morning of checkout. We found there to be no running water at all. When down at reception to ask about this issue we found nobody available to help and other guests reporting the same issue. So we were unable to shower before ..."

"Our stay was amazing. Good breakfast but could get a bit busy the later you go. All staff were amazing. Polite and very helpful. To name but one Carolina who went the extra mile with request. Without a doubt management material. Definitely recommend"

Amrâth Grand Hotel de l'Empereur
"Beautiful, older hotel that needs some TLC. Very friendly staff who are always there to help. The room was relatively clean but is desperate for a make over.....it's showing its age. The hotel decor is quite old fashioned with lots of dark wood and old furniture but still very comfortable. Unfortunately, it's not very good value for money. We stayed for 2 nights which were really quite expensive but it was during an Andre Reiu concert weekend so it's only to be expected. The location is ideal for train travellers, which we were, being literally 100 yards from the station. However, it's on the wrong side of the river for the beautiful old town of Maastricht and the big square where the concert is....about 25 minute slow walk. Would we return? Absolutely."
