Raptor's View - Million Dollar Views From The Ventura Hillsides

Enjoy the clear air and beautiful 180 degree views of the ocean high in the hills above Ventura! Minutes from the beach, downtown, and fairgrounds, Raptor's View is a magical spot surrounded by nature, with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean by day and city lights by night. Atop a secluded street, you will have all the amenities you expect, from a working fireplace, fast internet, and 75" TV, to an electric piano, guitar and vinyl turntable amongst other thoughtful touches and eclectic pieces.


THE SPACE:
Almost every room in the home has large windows so you always have a view of the ocean! When you walk in the front door, you will enter the main floor that has an attached garage, half bathroom, kitchen, dining table, and living room. This floor has a large wrap around deck that faces the ocean.

Downstairs are the bedrooms and laundry room. The primary bedroom has a California king bed with an en-suite bathroom and private deck. There are two other bedrooms - one has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. There is another full bathroom downstairs between the queen and twin bedrooms.


GUEST ACCESS:
You will have access to the entire house. There is an upstairs and downstairs with multiple decks, large windows, and seating areas for viewing the ocean, city, and hillside.

You can park a single car in the garage. There is also space in the driveway for another car as well some available street parking.

We had a wonderful stay at the Raptor’s View property.It was easy to get everywhere in Ventura and the view was really exceptional. The communication with the manager was perfect and the property was pristine and warm and comfortable. We had a chance to see the SpaceX launch from the porch which was a great experience. Everything about this property was first rate and made for a very enjoyable experience.

Winter Vacation in Ventura

Stayed for 7 days with my wife and 3 adult sons. This may be my favorite VRBO to date. The house was roomy, private, well maintained, comfortable and the view!!!!!!! could have (and did) spend most of the time sitting out on the wrap around deck and soaked in the most spectacular view. I recommend this palce to anyone!!!

Wonderful stay on top of the world

The house was perfect for our family to spend the holidays in Ventura. The view from atop the city was amazing - we watched the sea mist roll in and out over the city and the raptors flying over and around the house from the amazing deck. The guitar and piano provided a wonderful outlet for us. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms great, and the open plan upper level perfect for us and our family to enjoy the New Year.

This was our second time staying here (see our privious review below), and we couldn’t be happier! We know that sometimes, after hosting for a while, owners might start cutting corners—but to our very pleasant surprise, that was absolutely not the case here. The same attention to detail was evident throughout, from the beautifully maintained space to the squeaky-clean rooms. Communication was just as outstanding as we remembered, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.And this time, we had an extra special touch—a friendly cat who would stop by now and then, as if to personally supervise our stay. It was the perfect bonus to an already perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be back again!

Spectacular Views

My husband and I stayed here with our son and his wife for a week. Property and amenities matched the description. We took daily walks in the neighborhood and the hills were a great cardio workout! Close to Main Street and the beach. Views of the Channel Islands, hawks and city lights at night were amazing. The kitchen was well equipped and appliances in great condition. There is a drip coffee maker with a reusable filter and the host supplied coffee. Lots of tea selections as well. Filtered water from the refrigerator alleviated the need to buy bottled water. Bathrooms were well stocked, beds were comfortable and towels plentiful. Highly recommend.

We had an unforgettable stay at this property! The views alone were worth the trip, but what truly set this place apart was the hosts' attention to detail. From the quick and friendly communication to the welcoming bottle of wine with a handwritten note, everything was just perfect. I especially appreciated the large collection of books and board games, which kept us entertained during our downtime. The pebbled shower in the master bedroom was a luxurious touch, and the abundance of towels was a pleasant surprise—definitely more than we could ever need! The modern electronic gadgets, including multiple USB ports near each bed, made charging our devices so convenient. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts! We can't wait to return for another stay.
