Very well located away from the tourist path. At night there is a lot of atmosphere in the nearby Piazza. And in the morning the locals are out and about getting groceries and coffee.

They mentioned 24/7 front desk but they don’t offer 24/7 front desk. Check in is done in a different hotel. Hotel access is done through a code thus anyone that accessed the hotel once can enter it again, I didn’t see any cameras around the building.

The room was extremely clean as was the shared bathroom. There was a slight error with our room and we were put in the wrong one but it was quickly rectified and the staff member couldn’t be more apologetic even though it didn’t bother us that we were in the wrong room. He then gave us free pints to make up for it out of his own money. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the main attraction points and the bus/train station. Would stay again!

The place is very basic, as is to be expected of many Venice hotels unless you’re willing to break the bank. However, it was clean and comfortable and the staff pleasant. Our main complaint was the noise directly outside our window until 2am. It was constant groups of LOUD young travellers/students (one block from the uni). The the morning activity and sweeping up of bottles and cups in the street began at 7am. This location is great if you are also here for the night life, but if you value your sleep at a decent hour, ask for a room on the INSIDE AWAY FORM THE STREET.

Unfortunately, this is a classic case of taking advantage of tourist in Venice, giving them very little for what they pay. We knew this was going to be a modest accommodation (despite the not so modest price) but what awaited us was quite shocking: windows directly facing a wall, no attention to detail (a bare lightbulb as bedside lamp) and a very stained bedspread. The pictures of course were truly deceptive. The accommodation is privately owned and managed by a hotel next door, where the concierge said he was ashamed of what we had experienced. And yet no refund was made (to be fair, the concierge at least gave us a free breakfast as way of apology): we simply had to book elsewhere for the rest of our stay and pay twice the price at such short notice. There is no way we could endure this terrible place for more than one night.

Ich habe eine Nacht mit meinen 3 Kindern (4,6,9 Jahre alt) im Superior-Doppelzimmer verbracht. Es ist ausreichend Platz um zu viert in dem Zimmer zu schlafen. Es gibt ein Doppelbett (ca. 160cm) breit, sowie ein Schlafsofa. Die Klimaanlage war viel Wert, da es draußen sehr warm war. Das Zimmer ist nicht besonders hellhörig gewesen und die Nacht ruhig. Das Zimmer war ordentlich vorbereitet und sauber. Das Check-in im Hotel Ca‘ Nobile Corner (links neben dem Restaurant) war sehr freundlich, problemlos und schnell und wir wurden noch begleitet zur Residenzia briati. Abends gibt es an der Campo Santa margherita zahlreiche Möglichkeiten etwas zu essen zu finden. Das Frühstück hat im Ca‘ Nobile Corner stattgefunden und war vielfältig mit einem Angebot an Müsli, Obst, Brötchen, Toast, Kuchen, Ei, Saft, Kaffee (Automat), Tee. Fürs „richtige Venedig-Feeling“ würde ich auf das Frühstück im Hotel verzichten und lieber in einer der zahlreichen Bars mir einen guten Kaffee und ein Croissant, Panino o.ä. holen. Aber mit Kindern (zumindest meinen) ist die Frühstücksvariante im Hotel die bessere Lösung. Die Zimmer sind in der residenzia alle über eine Treppe zu erreichen und in einem alten kleinem venezianischen Mehrparteienhaus in einer kleinen (dunklen) Seitengasse untergebracht. Damit ist es in dem Zimmer nicht sehr hell, da die Fenster zur Gasse raus gehen. Wenn man nur zum übernachten kommt, stört es aber nicht sonderlich. Für den schönen Blick kann man sich auf den Campo setzen.
