Off the Main walkway
Excellent stay. Very close to the Train station which made it easy with our luggage. Down a little walkway which was nice . You're away from the main walkway. Arrived early, was able to store our luggage. Friendly gentleman at the front desk. Cute dog, Mativ I think. loved to be petted. Over all, it was exactly the way I expected the room to be. Some people forget you are going to another Country, and most likely the building was constructed a long, long time ago. Would definitely go back.

This was a good stay- our room was right above the entrance so could be noisy in the morning, but it was extremely clean and the staff were so nice! Their dog, Matisse, was a big hit too! I would stay here again but further from the front door!

Above Average Experience
The rooms are tiny. And there is no elevator. Also the breakfast selections were very limited and they ran out of fresh fruit one of the days we were there. The front desk people are friendly. Overall the hotel is in a convenient location within Venice and a walk from the train station.

Nice small european hotel
The Hotel Caprera is such a historic european hotel with nice staff. I stayed for three nights in a single room. Like many european hotels in historic cities, the room was small but very clean and well kept. I enjoyed my stay and visit to Venice. Also, being near the train station was a plus
