Wonderful intimate hotel, decorated with care. The staff was friendly, very helpful and welcoming. The neighborhood is charming, just sufficiently far away from the crowds. We would definitely stay there again.

The wonderful staff member Filippo greeted us after our walk to find the hotel. He kindly offered us a cold towel and processco to cool down from the heat. He was very accommodating and gave us great tips for Venice. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only comment would be for the shower/tub situation. the shower hose faced from the wall in the middle of the tub instead of the end so it made it difficult to move around and clean, particularly when the curtain also was in the way. Other than this was a great stay.

The staff here went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room is very nice, the bathroom, very modern. The only thing I could complain about is that the room was a little musty smelling because of all the heavy rain they were having. I'm sure that can't be helped, Venice is a really wet place! The bed was very comfortable.

The staff were very nice and helpful. They supported our travel by contacting us before we got in the hotel so that we didn’t feel any anxiety how to get there. We also loved how they prepared our breakfast. It was very beautiful!

Fabulous small and friendly hotel.

Fabulous stay in Venice. The hotel is in a great location, away from the busy/tourist areas (but not far to walk to all the sights). Very clean with a fabulous Italian breakfast. If you like music, Venice Jazz Club is just a few minutes walk away and a great night out. Will definitely stay again.

Home away from h home

Staying at Avogaria feels both peaceful and far away from the crowds and at the same time, a short walk away from everything. My room was like a little oasis and the owners and staff are warm, kind and extremely accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was located in a more residential area of Venice so it was quiet but only a few dining areas nearby. The room itself was well furnished with a little garden area attached to the room. However, the hotel had a very peculiar policy of requiring us to leave the room key when we went out. I was concerned that any staff or other guests had access to our room while we were out. It was also time consuming as we had to go to the front desk every time to drop off the key and pick it up. I would not stay at this hotel for this inconvenient and worrying key issue.
