The staff is amazing!!! From checkin to the Staff at the Mahi Mahi grill they were all so kind and gracious. The views and beach are amazing. Only down is the view of construction and the noise to the right of this property. With that being said - we LOVED our stay!!!

Just got back from staying at the Hyatt Vacation club and my family had a wonderful stay. A couple of nice things about the hotel, the pool is very close by the beach which made it convenient to go to both. Plenty of beach chairs available, facility was well kept, clean and front desk/staff was very accessible. The only thing we wished the hotel had was additional restaurants. There is only one on site. Will definitely consider coming back.

We enjoyed a 2-unit (I think they call it a lock-out) for ourselves and 3 teen kids. Plenty of room, updated, great facilities, and quiet. The pool, beach, and small bar/restaurant were great and the staff were super helpful and friendly. I would absolutely visit again!

We love Puerto Rico and Dorado and the property and have stayed there several times. The area around the restaurant and pool could be cleaner. Sand, leaves, trash, straws are visible all around. The Restaurant staff is usually very friendly and attentive. We know that it's not run by the resort but they do a great job...all day long and the food is very good. Unfortunately, when we checked in the receptionist was a bit confrontational. There was no "Hello, welcome to Hacienda... Would you like a glass of water after your travels..." We were greeted with "ID and credit card please". We arrived early so we wanted to change and have lunch. We were directed to the bathroom behind the front desk to change. The bathroom was dirty and the floor was all wet. Disgusting. Not the best first impression. Not the way to start a vacation. There should be a place to accommodate guests in this situation. We let it go but the next interaction with her was just as bad. She seemed to enjoy saying the word "NO" to our questions and requests without an alternative solution. Maybe more customer service training? We love the resort and are now owners so we will be back of course. Hoping these little things improve.

SMELLS LIKE SEWAGE NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY
There was no Conceierge Service, No one to take my bags, or bring me room service . I had NO IDEA when I booked this property that it was a time share not a resort with resort ammenities. It rained most of my trip and becacuuse of the poor septic /sewer situation,my room smelled like sewage the entire time I was there. I am disabled and they did nothing to help me get my things form the 5th floor to the lobby when the elevator was being serviced. Thank goodness for the kind peoole staying next to me who took all my things down 5 flights of stairs to get to my taxi. THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR the Disabled or for anyone that is visiting this Island for the first time.

TIME SHARE NOT A RESORT NO RESORT FEATURES
We were not informed by HOTELS.COM that we were booking a timeshare not a Resort, had we known this property was a timeshare WE WOULD HAVE NOT BOOKED THIS PROPERTY. WE BLAME HOTELS.COM NOT THE VACATION CLUB! We went on vacation expecting resort treatment..aka bellmen, room service, pool service etc. We were treated as owners, so we had to be self reliant, which is fine if we were in our own country. Also everything at this property is really far from the Touristy things to do in Purerto Rico. The private beach was lovely, and the staff was nice about being unable to help us in any way.

Dorado is such a beautiful location. The hotel staff were so sweet and accommodating. Close to good dining options.. must go to KGB for breakfast. Great having a little beach right on property. Only suggestion I have is to bring a little clip to keep the curtains closed the pool light comes through the sliver between curtains. I rented a car but plenty of people didn’t and had a great time.

If you want somewhere that is secluded but still a short drive from all the things THIS IS IT! We spent most of our morning doing excursions in San Juan and Carolina, but after we’re got tired of all the crowds we always found ourselves back at the hotel! It was so peaceful, great drinks, friendly staff! We played bingo and won free drinks (who doesn’t love free things) we have already made plans to come back!!
