Location is great, noise and food are not

Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful and the water pressure in the shower was awesome.
Cons: Send the Chef to school to learn how to cook basic things...like eggs, bacon, steak, potatoes, anything! Find a way to minimize noise after 10 PM!
I stayed two nights. The first night I got less than 3 hours sleep because of the noise. There was loud music and very noisy guests walking by the room constantly. The second night was a little better, I got 5 hours sleep. :-( The food was horrendous. The first night I ordered a steak medium rare, it came well done plus and it tasted like shoe leather. The buffet breakfast was passable but too expensive for mediocre food.

University Close

This hotel is very accomodating and clean, close to the University of Arizona and very convenient. I'm a parent of a student and love being in walking distance to my son when I visit.

No reservation - No extras

Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
I booked a concierge level suite for three people for the weekend of Tucson Festival of Books. I called ahead of time to confirm and add my friend's name to the reservation (as she was driving separately, in case she got there first). She arrived, they did not have her name, nor did they have our reservation on the concierge level floor. I had to print the confirmation and fax it over (despite providing all confirmations over the phone) before they would believe us. Why we went through the problem, I don't know. After being unable to figure out what was so great about concierge level, we asked at the desk. There is free food - but not on weekends (when we were there). There is no free internet. The only perk is that "people are less likely to be wandering around on a key card floor". Which, I found not to be true. Also, though clean, the hotel seemed unable to figure out (despite the roll-away) that there were three people in the room. Always providing two coffees, two robes, two towels, etc. On the plus-side, the staff was friendly, and the food at the restaurant was very good.

Awful awful awful

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
Awful awful awful. Don't even think about staying at this Marriott. When we arrived the bellboy argued with me about taking our luggage. I lost the argument and carried our own luggage. At dinner in the hotel, my three frienmds were served and finished their meals before I was served. The waitress told me she had forgotten to give my order to the kitchen. My order came and the dining room manager said she thought it was okay if I ate after my friends had already finished! Room service breakfast included a banana that was so green I couldn't peel it, let alone try to eat it. It also included small boxes of Kellogg's cereal that were impossible to open. I had to call for a pair of scissors to open it. We didn't see a hair dryer in the bathrooom so we called and they said there were no hair dryers available then but would be tomorrow; when we called a second time, they said look in the drawer in the bathroom. Why they hide the hair dryer I can't explain. Marriott shows a singular lack of customer awareness. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced.

This hotel is very convenient to U of A and our son's dorm. Makes life easier.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
As much as we enjoyed your location to everything. I am surprised that your bathrooms do not have an exhaust fan , especially when taking a shower. Another issue is most hotels have a refrigerator, either with items to buy in them or at least to store water bottles.

Too Pricey!

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet
Thought I'd splurge for the location and reputation -- didn't find it worth it. The room was nice but nothing special; the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been; no refrigerator; no microwave; $$ for a bottle of water and $$$$ for internet!!!
