They gave our room we reserved and called about not once but twice away. We had requested a handicap available room on the main floor. We were given a room no one had used in a long time and it smelled of smoke and had barely been cleaned. We were told we would be moved the next night into the room we actually booked and that didn't happen either.

This hotel is shabby and in need of renovation. However, the front desk staff is unfailingly kind, accommodating and friendly. And, I took a white washcloth upon room entry and randomly ran it over ten or more surfaces including floor and even small moldings, etc....not a speck of dirt or dust. The sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked...what more do I need? Thanks, and I will be back!

Front desk lupita was super rude. I checked in door didn’t open got a new room door didn’t open. I went to tell her bout my door she was frustrated because u know I’m the one tht didn’t shake and kick the door til it opened my bad I didn’t know the trick. She was so quick to want to refund me and get me out the hotel And I didn’t even ask for refund. Everyone in tht place looked as if they absolutely hated their job..

They had an attached restaurant we never got to check out. Apparently this was a good thing for us, as we later found out the place supposedly gets rowdy in the evenings. Several of the rooms all around the property were still vacant but dirty from the previous weeks Gem Show guests. The pool looked gross. The staff was horrible and seemed like English definitely wasn't their first language. We booked a week, but left after the 1st night.

Location is good. I want grab bars in the bathtub. Taking a shower is too dangerous.
