Not happy that cleaning staff knocking on my door then opening door at 930am. Bathroom not clean. Front when registering did not make any eye contact. I had to ask about parking. And wifi details. She brushed me off. Totally not welcoming. When checking out staff man at reception very friendly. Take out coffee tasted terrible at restaurant. Sorry not good experience at all.

Overall all thoughts

Staff are very nice but the building is very outdated. Room was reading 78 degrees when we arrived and after adjusting it, 45 minutes later only went down 2 degrees. Notfid FD upon leaving for the night. Came back room was okay but still sitting around 75-76. Called FD 2 times no answer and was too tired to go down stairs. Opened the patio door(that doesn’t lock because it’s broken) to cool us down while we sleep but was still hot to our liking. Can’t blame the staff or anything though just building is outdated rooms need a major touchup.

Upon arrival was a surprised with a 250 dollar deposit after prebooking on Expedia.ca. While i know that there is always a security deposit i was not told about it. While heading to room the hallways were dirty even though the staff were there cleaning, it was done half fast. We decided we wanted to take a swim in the indoor pool and that was a bad idea in itself. The mens change room's sa I na smelled like an old dirty fish tank and moldy, in the change room itself, the tiles were stained brown with cigarette butts. The pool had all kinds of little bugs with lots of legs crawling around the sides of the pool as well as in the pool and in the womens change room. The womens change room was gross and smelled horrible and the sauna wouldnt even turn on, the showers didnt work properly and were also disgusting. We decided to try the hotels food and that was a mistake. My fiance had a pizza and it tasted like a frozen cardboard pizza. His brother had Sphagetti Al' Amatraciana and it was literally just sphagetti and cheap sauce. I had a smack burger with onion rings. I asked for no onions on the burger, there was a huge pile of sauteed onions on it, it was literally just thrown together with a cheap small store bought no name bun and the food made us all feel sick afterwards, i paid 65 dollars for all of that and it was poor quality and poor taste. There was no complimentary breakfast, 20 dollars for it. Pictures are very misleading! Everything was overpriced and disappointing!
