"I had a lovely warm welcome from the receptionist. My spacious room was on the 4th floor, very quiet and clean with complimentary coffee and water. The bed and pillows were really comfortable too. I would definitely recommend and be returning."

Torno Hotel & Travel Guide

Wandering in Douro Valley? To experience it like the locals do, research accommodation options that are within an easy drive from the main part of Torno. Within 6 miles (10 kilometers) of the center of Torno, you will find 5 modern hotels.

Hotels that are within a quick walk of central Torno, are the Casa de Juste Country House and Stone Farm Hostel.

The Hotel Rural Quinta Da Cruz can be found 3 miles (4 kilometers) away from downtown Torno. Another place to stay is the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimarães - Monument Hotel, which can be found 11 miles (18 kilometers) away. If you'd prefer, you could check out the rates and amenities at the Casa da Calçada Relais & Châteaux or the Casa De Sezim.

Why don't you take the time to visit the many attractions located in Norte while you're in this area? Norte is the home of beaches, coastal plains and forests. Amarante is 9 miles (14 kilometers) east of Torno and is where you'll find Igreja de Sao Goncalo and Ponte de Sao Goncalo. Before leaving Douro Valley, you should make sure you are able to see some fast-paced sport. Get to Estadio Municipal de Braga, which you can find northwest of Torno. Book a Travelocity-listed hotel in the middle of the sporting action at the Melia Braga Hotel & Spa or the Hotel Bracara Augusta.
