"Outstanding stay, thanks to an exceptional team We had a wonderful stay, and the staff is what made it truly memorable. From start to finish, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Cecilia, in particular, was amazing. When we ran into an issue with a driver pickup, she stepped in and handled it with genuine care and professionalism. She went above and beyond to make things right, and it turned what could have been a frustrating moment into one of the best service experiences we've ever had at a hotel. "This is by no measure a 5-star property, but a well used 4-star facility. The upkeep is not really up to par, with mold in the bathroom, bathroom doors peeling severly due to water damage, stained towels etc. The breakfast is fine, but, again, not up to 4-star standards (including 5-star hotels in Portugal). The common spaces like the dining room show extensive damage due to use (and lack of maintenance?) and there's peeling paint in the hallways. However, the staff were exceedingly friendly and the price we paid in mid-May (around 150 € per night) was right for a 4-star place."
