If you're trekking through South Gyeongsang and would like to stop by Tongyeong, as a discerning traveler, you would do well to book as soon as your plans are confirmed through Travelocity's hotels page so that you find the ideal place to base your trip. If time allows, enlightened travelers should venture to the other parts of South Gyeongsang. Photographers will love South Gyeongsang's coastal plains, forests, rivers and lakes. On top of that, venture through its ruins, traditional villages and old towns. Common activities in this particular part of South Korea include mountain climbing, hiking and shore fishing.
Namhae is situated 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northeast of Tongyeong. During your visit, take the chance to see the Gujora Beach. Alternatively, you can visit Namhae, which can be found 25 miles (37 kilometers) to the west of Tongyeong. While there, be sure to visit the Bori-am. Before your Tongyeong trip draws to a close, why not spend an afternoon cheering wildly with some of South Gyeongsang's sports obsessives at a community game.
