1st and last stay here

I got what I paid for as the only goid thing was that it was kinda quiet until someone allowed their young children to run the hallway. And the ice machine didn't work on the side where my room was so I had to walk a few minutes to the other side, round trip, to just get ice. No breakfast/coffee at 6 a.m. as I had to be at my post by 7.

NOT Great. But also, NOT Good either.

In my first room, the Toilet Seat was broken. So, I had to be move to another room. In this room, the Tub/Shower handle was broken off and sitting on the Tub. So again, I had to be move to another room. This room was okay for only one night. The area of the Hotel was alright. It sits right next to the side of the Hwy. And, most of all. There is "NO" elevators in this Hotel. You, must be able to walk up the stairs to the second floor.

The room was dated but clean. The hallways and exterior was in poor repair and dirty, cigarette butts every where outside. The front desk staff were nice and welcoming.

Overnight trip

We only stay there for an overnight trip to Illinois. And the room was semi clean but the bathroom needs work. There was damage in the other side of the bathroom door. The shower wasn’t the greatest. It definitely need to be fix in over all.

The one bed was missing blankets and couldn't reach front desk. The toilet seat was in horrible shape and badly needed replaced, the tv did not work properly. Stains on the sheet. Mold on the shower head.

It took 5 minutes and saying “Hello” 2 times until the person popped out of the side room The TV in the room did not work right. The cords would not stay in and could not use it. The channels were very basic and the remote did not work well.

Nightmare Hotel

Upon checking in we were told the elevators were not working. When we got into our room, the bathroom was under construction. The manager put us into another room connected to a heavy smoker. Could not breath tried to go to sleep. Was woken up by heavy smoke. Checked out in the middle of the night. Booked for two night. Stayed a few hours. Told the front desk person we will sleep in the car due to the heavy smoke. The front desk person told us that due to a recent flooding the smoke detectors were not working.

Unclean and reeks of cigarettes

The place is under complete reconstruction. Many of the occupants were long term and were used to living there and super loud. Felt really unsafe the whole time but we checked in super late and couldn't get another hotel. Hotel says non-smoking but reeks of old cigarette use. Parts of the hotel were nice and it seems like the owners are trying to rebuild the hotel. Until that happens, I won't stay there again.
