"Great position, friendly staff"
Terrific position, I had a fantastic room with spectacular view of Tokyo Tower. Rooms are now a bit dated however, which is presumably why can't ask top dollar. Staff were great. If you won't miss a slick contemporary room, snap this one up without hesitation

APA Hotel Ningyocho-Eki-Kita

2-9-4Nihombashihoridome-cho, Tokyo - Map
This APA hotel in Ningyocho has very small rooms but they were new looking and very clean. The space was so limited that we had to put one of our suitcases on the desk, and the other on the foot of the bed. The semi-double bed was up against walls on 3 sides forcing the inside person to climb over the outside sleeper to get in and out. The room had all the amenities needed. The wi-fi worked well. English language BBC news channel is available on the TV. The breakfast buffet was good and offers a good variety of Japanese and Western foods. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the Ningyocho subway station, which has 2 different subway lines going through it making it easy to get anywhere in Tokyo. There are lots restaurants in the area. We ate at Tempura Tenya, a Ramen shop near the subway station, takeout sushi, McDonalds, and Starbucks.
