I had booked this hotel since it was rated a 5 star hotel and was reasonably priced and a way to transition to and from my longer stay in Kovalam. Unfortunately if you want service, questions answered or assistance in general this is not the place to stay. If you just want a reasonably clean room close to the airport then this hotel would work but don’t expect more. This is NOT a five star hotel. My flight was canceled so I called travelocity to contact the hotel to cancel my first day. After some back and forth the hotel agreed to cancel one night of my 3 night stay. When I checked out the hotel told me I would only be charged for 2 nights. I was charged for 3 nights. I returned for one night for my departure flight to the hotel and attempted to remedy the mixup. The front desk supervisor instructed me that I needed to contact Travelocity, didn’t talk to anyone in the hotel to verify and kept telling me it was my responsibility and problem. After much back and forth he agreed to talk to someone in the hotel. What seemed to be a simple fix requires so much follow up back and forth. My last day in Kerala was an unnecessarily stressful, unhappy one in an otherwise restful, beautiful trip in Kerala. The level of incompetence at this hotel is so high I would not recommend it. The hotel staff ruined my last day in Kerala.
