"We were in town for our son’s wedding at Murthly Castle and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. Had our oldest son and his family including my 10 and 8yo grandsons. The backyard was great for them to play in and the River Tay was 200yds away for us to skip rocks. Then the beautiful town of Dunkeld was a 1000yd walk along the river bank to the bridge. Dunkeld is just picture perfect. Plenty of places to eat either in town or on the river. The cottage was very comfortable, even my DIL said that they need a house as cozy as that. Plenty of space. The 2 bathrooms were a big plus. We hosted a brunch at the castle for 26 people the Sunday after the wedding and everything we needed was available in the kitchen. Transported the supplies and table service to the castle. All we needed was the baked goods from Aran Bakery. Fantastic pastries. We have the most wonderful time!!’n"
