Book a hotel near The Grand Pavilion, Matlock

"Great property, great location."

"Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast. The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as it’s false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free parking!!! Luckily we got parked ok in the train station car park but had to pay £15 per car. In the afternoon however the car park soon fills up and people drive up and down looking for a space. We’d stay here again due the location and the charm of the building. "

"Was a lovely little room. Clean and cozy. Down points are that room was too hot with no means to cool it down and no spoons or stirrers to make the drinks. Would deffo recommend but if your like me and get hot too quick then ask for a room with aircon."

"Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Just off the busy A6 but you wouldn’t believe it. Lovely gardens, every member of staff friendly, polite and looking to help you. Clearly training staff is key here. Room lovely, spacious and relaxing. "
