We had a pleasant 1 night stay. Check in was made effortless and welcoming by the young lady on reception (sorry I didn’t catch your name but it was Saturday 7th afternoon). When we arrived the room was very clean , but there was little flies flying round the room, we did report this , don’t no if Anyone went to the room as when we came back from having a walk they appeared again. Also when resting a dog was barking constantly for 2 hours, they must of gone out for a bit, other then that a lovely stay , been many time always loved this hotel , just a few things that let it down this stay. We weren't advised there was a pool, so we didn't get to use it. Staff were all lovely, especially receptionist who booked us in. But the second lift being out of order meant we had to wait for the lift when checking out. There was a chair in our room [118] that needed joints gluing and could have collapsed, and somewhere in the bathroom is leaking damp, resulting in a few harmless fruit flies and damagedbath panel and skirting.
