Very clean breakfast was very good! Beds super comfortable. Wish bathroom vanity was bigger and lighting in bathroom was too dim.

We stayed 2 days and the staff were excellent. They answered all of our questions and were very welcoming. The breakfast was great, but she became overwhelmed and you had to wait for over 15 minutes to get any food. Our room was nice and clean. The guests above our room were horrible, sounded like they were having a party, but once they shut it down, we could finally relax. Other than that, I would still recommend this hotel.

I would like to start by telling you thank you for Choosing to stay with us at Holiday Inn Express Mt.Pleasant Texas. I do apologize for it taking so long for breakfast to come out. Kathy is really great and will try her best to take care of all of our guest. In the situation with the noise I also apologize for that as well. You could have informed Front Desk and they could have taken care of that for you. Again thank you for staying with us. We take all our feedback and use it to better any issues we may have.

Not a NON Smoking hotel

Cons: Make it a NON SMOKING Hotel
We booked a non smoking room. When we got off the elevator on the 3rd floor, (which is where we requested) the cigarette smoke just about knocked us down. Our room was at the other end of the hall way, but I could still smell it in my room. After coming in from dinner, we requested a floor that was non smoking. The hotel staff was happy to move us.

Nice, quiet, first floor room was easy to carry bags to thru the side entry.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
Pretty much what you expect from a HI Express. Room was not fancy but clean and cooled. Dark and quiet enough for a good nights sleep. If you are a breakfast loving person I suggest you go out for breakfast. Coffee was good but beyond that everything was pre- packaged and tastless. The pancake machine would finally spit out rubber pancakes 2 at a time. Don't bother. Get your coffee and juice then head down the road somewhere for a real breakfast.

Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly personnel

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Very attractive entrance and extremely nice desk reservationist. No question about obtaining a handicap room even though he stated that they had overbooked. In no time, we had our accommodating room and drove to the appropriate parking area to unload through an accessible entrance. Two things I would recommend for the handicap room: a shower bench to go inside the bath tub or a walkin shower with a bench. The other suggestion is to have a bench in the bathroom on which to sit and finish dressing after bathing. It was difficult for me to stand throughout the entire bathing and dressing. The grab bars were an excellent idea.
