No phones or TV

After arriving we could not get the tv to work so was going to call the front desk for help, only to find out the telephones also did not work. Went to front desk clerk to ask to be moved to a different room due to weather being bad and traveling next morning. We were then informed the internet had been out for 4 days so no matter what room we went to we would have the same problem. very disappointing that they could not have informed us at check in so we could go elsewhere. In the future I will stick to the Hilton hotels.

Family Visit

A 5 day stay to visit family in the area. The hotel was clean and staff welcoming. Mattress was not real comfortable, getting those age lumps, but passable. Overall a nice stay. Affordable for the length of time.

At first, it appears like a decent place. But if you slow down you notice some things. The elevator is not leave and a couple of times I forgot and would trip walking out. There were dead, small beatles in the bathroom, and the cable was out for 4 of the 5 days.

The first room i stayed in was dirty. Leftover food in the microwave, popcorn in the sofa, not enough towels and the AC didnt work. It also smelled awfulThe second room has a sofa that was busted open to the point that the foam under the cloth was exposed. There were no extra towels or linen. The breakfast was subpar. Most of the staff was friendly, however, the front desk morning employees do not greet guests. They just stare as guests walk by.

Maintenance Issues

Toilet stopped up immediately after one normal usage. We tried calling front desk but phone in room was not working even after we plugged it in. We were brought a plunger and had to fix the toilet ourselves. We were not offered any compensation for any of this. Disappointing to say the least.

This hotel did not feel very clean to me. When I ran water to take a bath, there were several particles floating in the water, including a small bug. The water pressure in the shower was weak. There was no shampoo provided (had conditioner and lotion), and there was only one bath towel. The couch in the room did not appear to be clean. I will not stay here again.

Had a comfortable stay but we're very disappointed when we arrived the clerk informed us that their tower was out and there was no TV. As we are old and don't get around much we were disappointed as we depend on tv for evening entertainment. They offered to refund our reservation money but after calling around found that other close by hotels were full. No type of compensation was offered for not providing this amennity.
