The staff is amazing - helpful, friendly, and always willing to lend a hand. The room is beautiful and the view is gorgeous. However, this is one of the loudest places in the world that I have stayed. The constant symphony of construction, insects, and traffic is enough to drive you mad.

We came in Jan/26, so the park was very quiet guest wise. Breakfast and dinners were great (not included for us) and reasonably priced. As for the treatment of the ellies - they are well taken care of and have a much better life than before their arrival to Mason. Please watch the informative video, and talk to the mahouts. They are knowledgable and happy to answer questions! AS OF JAN 25 there are no more elephant rides - which was fine by us!! Just happy to be around such big beautiful gentle creatures. "
