Great location in Mountain Village, updated, comfortable and responsive property manager.Ski in/out was easy: Ski out - walk out the front door, turn right around the building and go down the little hill to The Peaks green run to Lift 10 Sunshine Express and Lift 1 Chondola. You can also cross the street to Mountain Village and get on Lift 4 Village Express or the Gondola. That’s more of a walk with skis - we prefer to get on the hill as fast as possible so always went around the building (you can see the run from the living room balcony). Ski in - from Mountain Village ski under the bridge toward Meadows run, ski right onto The Peaks and climb back up the little hill (though the hill doesn’t feel so “little” when you climb up it after a day of skiing :).Bedrooms were comfy and accommodate way more than our family of 4. Bunkbed room has 2 double-size bunkbeds. There is also a little room connected to the main upstairs bedroom that has a pullout trundle - just note that there is no separate entrance - you enter from the main bedroom. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The living room was comfortable and spacious.We didn’t rent a car and found that the Gondola was extremely easy and took you wherever you needed to go - whether grocery shopping in Market Plaza or shopping and restaurants in Telluride. Tip: ride the Gondola to the Village Market in Market Plaza and take a suitcase to bring the groceries back.

Loved!

We stayed here for a week in February and it was absolutely perfect. Ski locker plus location made it so easy to access mountain and it was so fun being so close to the ice skating rink for our children. The home was clean and cozy and great for nights at home with the fireplace. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Location and Gorgeous Unit

The condo location is convenient and close to everything in Mountain Village. Views were incredible and accommodations were lovely and spacious which was great with two families with kids.

Beautiful Place

This property was amazing - tons of space and plenty of beds for everyone. The interior was beautiful and great views of the sunset from the balcony. Perfect location - quick walk to the center of Mountain Village and an easy gondola ride away from downtown Telluride!

Amazing Unit and Location

We could not have been more impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the unit. It had everything we needed for a family of 5, and the location was nothing short of fantastic. We definitely plan on staying here again in the future.

Spacious condo, great location

Perfect location in the center of Mountain village, short walk to condole. Kitchen equipped with everything needed to make a nice dinner and gas grill clean functional. Beds were very comfortable and bedrooms quite spacious. Bathrooms updated. Wonderful stay and management company responsive.

Hidden treasure

Beautiful property within walking distance of mountain village and the peaks. Room with a view with ALL the amenities. Also the property management team was helpful in giving us all The recommendations. Highly recommend for ski or fall!

Beautiful property!

This property is exactly as advertised! How refreshing! The views from the living room windows are stunning! Everything is modern and well taken care of. The beds are soft and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice meal or have your coffee or tea in the mornings. The only disappointments were: no disposal in the kitchen sink, the parking spot is difficult to non-useable if there is a car in the adjacent spot and the access to the ski slope is a rather severe slope. However, this property was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful!

Wow - what a beautiful home! The sunsets from the balcony were absolutely breathtaking! Everything was incredibly clean and comfortable - my friends and I had a wonderful stay for my 30th birthday trip. Plus the convenience was amazing! Just a few minutes walk to the gondola to take you into Telluride which was a fun and easy way to get there multiple times throughout our stay.

Excellent Place Stay at Mountain Village / Telluride

We enjoyed our stay at this 5-star place. The condo is very, very nice, better than the pictures: lots of light, nestled among the trees, living-dining-kitchen area layout is excellent, very well furnished, excellent beds, good TV's with Roku streamingWe appreciate the location right at the Mountain Village Center. We took the free gondola to Telluride (and back) several times and got to Telluride within 15 minutes.The support provided by AvantStay was very prompt and helpful. Note - The unit has one parking spot at the Blue Mesa Condo basement garage about a five minutes' walk across the Village Center Plaza. Be sure to read the instruction from AvantStay carefully to avoid parking in the wrong spot! Although it is small and tight as noted by a prior reviewer, we were able to squeeze in a Chevy Tahoe SUV with very careful backing in maneuver.

Great place close to the gondola

Stayed here for the Bluegrass festival - great location close to the gondola and plenty of room for 3 couples. Well stocked kitchen, clean, nice view off the balcony. Internet is a little spotty (we called the property mgr and she mentioned it was just how it works in mountain towns - although other experiences in the area have been just fine) but other than that a really nice place to stay in Mtn Village.

Overall a pleasant stay. The living area was filthy on arrival. Sofa heavily foodstained. Food residue on coffee table and dining table. The bed mattresses were way too soft.

Bachelorette trip

Couldn’t have asked for a better location. It was in the heart of mountain village and everything was so walkable. The scenery was unmatched and the hosts were available through texts. We unfortunately got a flat tire while visiting and the hosts gave me a recommendation on where to go for a repair. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to make meals and there was complementary coffee as well. Only thing was missing were tongs for grilling but other than that it was great. We stayed for a bachelorette trip and had a great trip. If you take a shuttle from montrose airport, it’ll drop you off right in front of the location. Overall great experience and made the trip that much greater.

Great location, would book again

This home was perfect for our trip to Telluride! We were a group of 3 couples who came for the Blues and Brews festival. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and accommodated 3 couples very well. The location was excellent - easy walking distance to the Gondola to go into Telluride, or even down to the grocery store. There were only 2 issues. One was the parking. The one designated parking spot was extremely small and in a corner. We couldn’t park because the truck parked in the adjacent corner spot was sticking out, blocking the space entirely. The host was extremely responsive and reimbursed us for paid parking in another location. We were really happy with their response. Also, the heat in the home wasn’t working. However, again the host was really responsive and brought space heaters for us all right away. The couple of issues were quickly and well resolved. We would absolutely stay here again, and certainly plan to next year!
