Location right on the square enabling us to walk everywhere. We had two large rooms to ourselves. Each one with its own TV. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Large clean room and bathroom with Saltillo tile. Well appointed and had opening window and ceiling fan. Location can’t be beat and onsite parking lot was convenient. Hotel lobby is full of artwork and weavings by local artists. This hotel was built in 1937 but there’s been a hotel on that site since 1820 - if the walls could talk!

Old Hotel with squeaky floors and thin walls but I didn’t mind at as I enjoy historical architecture. It was still a pretty quiet place to stay and the bed was very comfortable. Probably not for someone who is easily bothered by noise.

Grand old lady lost her luster…. The Taos la Fonda needs owner staff and perhaps investors to bring her back to life…. It’s little things… like unreliable splitting heating, no step down warnings from bathroom, dusty bathroom fan ventsz. But also unnecessary things like night desk blaring music throughout lobby ( into my room). A day desk staff that didn’t believe our no heat experience at first…. This is a grand old place that needs revival
