STAFFS NEED RE-TRAINING. THEY’RE NOT AWARE OF THEIR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- REALLY DISAPPOINTED. CLEARLY, THEY DIDN’T PROVIDE US PROPER ASSISTANCE DURING OUR STAY. My husband and I booked at your hotel last Dec 17 – 20. It was on Dec 18 that we really had a bad encounter which really proves that they don’t really care about their guest. Around 4:40 pm – I asked Ms. Jocelyn for help, I told her that we are supposed to be picked up at the Hotel lobby at 4:50 pm – for dinner cruise under BALDYGA group. I ask her to tell them that we will just put our stuffs upstairs – we are in the 16th floor. She then told me to not to worry because they usually go at the front desk and they will just call us in our room. It didn’t took us long to put our stuffs in our room, also we have not heard any phone calls or any missed or message on our phone in the room. It was around 4:55 or 5pm when we finally got down because the elevator took long to go down the lobby because of too many guest/students going for TAO-TAO BBQ. As soon as we got down my husband looked in the lobby for the person under BALDYGA– while I go straight in the front desk, I ask the 3 person in the front desk, if the person from Baldyga for dinner cruise came to look for us, they said there was not any, “They haven’t arrived yet”. My husband and I sit on the lobby but we begin to worry because it was 5:05pm by then and all the bus in front of the hotel are for TAO-TAO TASI BBQ only- no one is for dinner cruise. I try to

We truly apologize for the incident that occurred on Dec. 18th, 2018 where a driver from the Baldyga group came to pick you up for a dinner cruise but was unable to meet with you in the lobby upon hotel departure time. It seems all of our efforts to help you that night were unsuccessful. I will discuss this issue with my team to find better ways to handle these types of matters, should something similar occur again in the future. Hotel is falling apart. Needs renovation. Badly.

Pros: Location. Friendly staff.
Cons: Outrageous prices at the restaurant. Parking. Room condition, amenities, elevators. Overall condition of the hotel needs improvement.
Location: Enjoy the entire island.
I have stayed at this hotel on other occasions during my trips to Guam. Prior to this trip, it had been approximately 5 years since my last visit. The amenities and condition of the hotel rooms seem to be degrading to the point that I was tempted to find another hotel. Shower heads barely let the water flow. Small refrigerators did not keep items cold or cool. In room telephone did not work. Elevator broke with me and my daughter in it stopping approximately 9 inches short of a floor. Door opened slightly and I had to force the door open to get us out. There is no adequate parking available. You have to park in a basement, walk up two flights of steps leading to the outside and then enter through the main entrance. Hotel restaurant charged the four of us $80 for breakfast. This is outrageous for bacon and eggs with a hash brown. We were there for 11 days and found that for a hotel of this size, there were only 4 washers and 4 dryers with only 2 washers and 2 dryers working. The hotel seems to cater only to the Asian customers and did not care much about non Asian customers. The hotel staff were polite and saw to all our concerns. I will make further trips to Guam but highly doubt I will stay at the Holiday Resort again unless serious updates are implemented.

An old hotel that has seen better days. The front desk staff were less than out going and it seemed to be related to the fact that the reservation was made through Travelocity. I selected a room that was discribed as "ocean view" but the room I received was anything but. When I questioned the front desk they stated the room faces in the general direction of the ocean but you may not be able to see the ocean. So in their mind "ocean view adjacent" was good enough. I will say that the Manhattan Steak House was excellent and had excellent staff. We really enjoyed our dinner there

I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. It is in a nice location but the hotel is in need of renovations. The rooms smell of mold and little creatures may visit you during the night. I only stayed for one night and was afraid to unpack my luggage. Don't let the name fool you!

Guam 2008

Not a well kept Marriott. Rooms outdated and bathrooms desperately need an upgrade. Food in hotel similar to Denny's. Wait staff nice but really slow and not well educated. Pool area is clean but little chairs and run down surface. Marriott needs to decide if they keep their name on this hotel, and thus spend some money, or change it to a Holiday Inn.

Very nice

My family & I stayed here twice in the last 2 months and we were very happy. Rooms are updated, clean and attractive. The view is gorgeous! If you want peace, make sure they don't give you a room on the same side as the Pacific Island Club Hotel because their nightly luau is noisy!

Super Friendly!

We stayed here for a little over a week. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a little trouble getting our room made up as we liked sleeping in past 9am, but it was a great holiday! The Marriott is right on the beach and near to downtown yet quieter than the Pacific Islands Club next door. The hotel restaurants are a bit pricey and close a bit early, but we got some great advice from the front desk and found some wonderful local places to eat. They also helped us find some beautiful spots on the Island to see. We would stay there again!
