I only booked a room to do conference calls at night and not disturb my family sleeping at a different hotel down the street (which was full). This place was pretty rough and people can rent rooms by the hour which means it’s probably a little scandalous. Roach traps under the desk. Worst of all, the WiFi didn’t work well enough for videoconferencing! I ended up giving up and taking the meeting from the lobby of my original hotel.

Convenient with friendly staff

5 minutes walk to metro and airport bus stop. Easily accessible to various attraction sites. Friendly staff and free use of washer and dryer. Only con is that the room is not that big but typical size of an inn in taipei.

Pros: Situated in a quiet and safe alley and only a 5 min. walk to the subway station, restaurants, drugstores, etc. Cons: Front desk receptionists were nice and attentive but their English communication skills were not good. Only there for a short stay. It was perfect as I arrived late in the night and I could just enter with a password. Perfectly fine for a short & cheap stay.
