We really enjoyed our stay at Humble Boutique Hotel.
I believe it's a fairly new hotel. Everything is very new, clean, and modern. We really enjoyed the modern look and feel of the lobby. We got the corner king room which was very spacious with a couch and a corner seat so ample space for hanging out. The bed was very nice! The bathroom / shower was really great. We also enjoyed the free minibar snacks, especially the candy popcorn and the Taiwan beer hehe. Fikafika coffee was also a nice touch! There was no bottled water; there is a water station on each floor for both still and sparkling water and we were given a glass drinking vessel to use in our room.
The location is in the Zhongshan District of Taipei and is very convenient to buses and the metro but we mostly cabbed around. There are a lot of choices for food nearby. We ate at the rotating sushi restaurant across the street our first night and found great local food spots, a bakery, cafe, 7-11, etc. just a few blocks away.
Unfortunately our stay coincided with the hotel's yearly pool closure so we only had one night to use the pool, steam room, and sauna otherwise we would have taken advantage of this amenity every day. We used the fitness center once.
I would definitely stay at the Humble Boutique Hotel again!
