Goog hotel, greate city, NO ENGLISH

The hotel was very spacious and quite, and has a great location next to the lake. If you like to take morning walks with a nice view of the gardens and lake, it is perfect for you. The only problem I had was, it was hard to communicate with everyone at the hotel, specially when no one speaks English! I had a rough time trying to explain a few things to the front desk, and asking for directions and places to go around the city. I had the same problem with the waiters at their restaurants, a simple request like "could I please have some water" was hard to communicate. So, please learn some Chinese before going there. Overall, the hotel was great and I enjoyed my time at Suzhou.
