Both rooms (we had switch rooms cause we had dogs, and I guess they require you to be on the first floor if you have pets) had a mildew smell to them and just seemed to be dirty upon arrival. Spa was not working and was cold which was disappointing. Other than those things we had a good time.

Clean room. Welcoming and helpful staff. Good hot breakfast with a variety of options. Cute outdoor pool area with plenty of seating/tables, a grill, and a fire pit. Bonus points that breakfast is open until 10am and facilities are open until 10pm. Could do better with toiletries (provide lotion, etc.). Need to fix advertising about “complimentary” hospitality hour - it is not complimentary.

The Maple Tree Inn, located in Sunnyvale, CA, is a very nice and reasonably priced hotel. It has a nice outdoor swimming pool and a convenient fitness center. The property is well-maintained and conveniently located. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff is super-friendly and accommodating to guests.
