"The grounds and pool were absolutely amazing, we even used the boat on the lake. Gardens and grounds beautifully maintained so pretty just to walk around. We had a lovely relaxing time."

The Wenns Chop & Ale House
"This is an aparthotel that also has double rooms. I stayed in a room. It was large, very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bath tub in the bedroom, and also a separate shower room and toilet, but a tiny basin with not enough room to rest even a small toilet bag. The shower head worked ..."

King's Lynn Caravan & Camping Park
"The toilet and shower are common, with no privacy at all. The pod does not have enough space, and the common shower does not have a temperature adjustment. Not ideal for families with kids. And the cost is high for these facilities."

The Crown Hotel
"The hotel does not have A/C and I stayed during a record-breaking heat wave. I was fortunate to have a room with adjacent windows, and the room had a good fan. Munford is a quiet town, and I was able to leave the windows open at night and get a good night's sleep. I imagine some of the other rooms ..."

The shower head worked but leaked. The power cable to the room TV had disconnected and was impossible to reconnect without tools. Although I enjoyed an excellent dinner at the restaurant, it does not serve breakfast during the week - which means going out for breakfast. That was a minor irritation, though. The reason I would not go back (even though the location is good - opposite the Minster and near the Guildhall) was noise. I was at the back of the building. I heard the music from the restaurant, but far worse was the whine from an extractor fan or air-conditioning unit which continued until 11pm and started up again before 7am. Closing the windows might have muffled the sound, but we were in a June heatwave. There is no on-site parking, but I travelled by train, a 10-15 minute walk from the station."
