The views of the river were fantastic. This is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and ideal for someone who has a boat. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The “private beach area”’shown in the brochure is not as large/wide as the photo. There is a larger beach area a short distance from the property. Be prepared to drive to another nearby town for meals. There was only one restaurant. I did not eat there. St. Michael’s and Easton were my “go to” areas for dinner. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at Sandaway Suites & Beach! Thank you for your feedback. The private beach does change shape and size with the tides and seasons. Luckily, we also have the very large waterfront lawn offering the peace and quiet with lounge chairs. Oxford actually has five nice restaurants open in the Summer. Most of the 5 restaurants and the Oxford Market, Oxford Social Cafe, and Scottish Highland Creamery are all walkable from Sandaway Suites & Beach. While hours vary please contact us next time you come, so we can help you better. Yes, St. Michaels and Easton are nice options for dining. We hope to see you again in Oxford, MD and safe travels.
