Lovely and spacious updated room. Very clean and comfortable. Could use curtains to block some of the light getting in through the slat blinds. Otherwise a great hotel with a perfect location. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was clean. It had modern decor. As a plus there was a restaurant on site. The staff was friendly and stayed in touch by text message. The drawbacks for us were that there was no coffee maker in the room and parking spaces were limited.

Beautiful but noisy stay

The hotel itself was beautiful. It’s a perfect location at the end of the downtown area. They had a light breakfast included which was delicious. Some other notable amenities were the use of their bikes and s’mores at the fire pit. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was a nice balcony attached. The only complaint that I had was that the walls were so thin that we could clearly hear the couple in the room next to ours. This fact seems to be one that should not be overlooked for the price of the stay.

The Wildset is absolutely beautiful—modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The amenities were excellent (we loved having the bikes and the delicious breakfast included). The restaurant on the property was phenomenal, and every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming. They even surprised me with a handwritten calligraphy card for my birthday, which made my trip feel extra special. What a wonderful stay—we will definitely be back!

Very Good Experience But Could Use a Refresh

My friend and I love Wildset and believe that we will continue to return. However, on this visit we noticed that it could benefit from a refresh. A drawer in the room could not close. There was a stain on the rug. And the bottom of the bathroom door need repainting. Also, they said that they ran out of the egg based breakfast dish (frittata) I believe. However, a group that came 30 minutes after us was served this egg dish at their table, which did not seem fair. Again, there are many pluses to the experience at Wildset including cute decor and good location. Also, I love the bonfire and s’mores.

The Wildset is a must stay in St. Michaels. Great location, wonderful staff and service. Make sure you dine at their location for dinner, RUSE, one of the best restaurants I have ever dined in. Wonderful time and will definitely will go back!
