"Had a great one-night stay in the romantic chalet at Chateau Purcari, situated on top of the hotel along side the barrel accommodation. The room was spacious and comfortable, although there was nowhere outside to sit and enjoy the views over the vines and the garden. AC was efficient. Staff are friendly even if all don't speak English. We took a wine tour and tasting (fabulous) while there which was fun. Dinner was good although the restaurant was empty mid-week. Breakfast was diverse and plentiful. As the room was on the roof (along with the barrel/classic house rooms) you do need to carry your luggage upstairs. It's a bit tight at the top so not the best if you have a big suitcase. There is parking on site and we had no concerns about leaving a bigger case in our car."
