Travelocity’s posted photos are fraudulent. The photos are NOT what the hotel looks like. I called the police to report the unsafe conditions.

As you would see from the other guests comments, we do have a very clean hotel, excellent service, and we did provide an amazing breakfast on event weekends. When you are complaining please be specific. And, yes, Police do not come for some vague complaints. and no police came to the Hotel based on your purported complaint. We stayed at Estya hotel from Nov. 12th thru 14th and were very disappointed in the price we paid, considering the condition of the hotel. Had we paid only $60 per night, it would have been on-par with what we experienced. For $400 per night, we expected better than the following: The toilet was stained. My husband ran out of hot water within 4 minutes. The other two of us didn’t get showers. The next day, I had only lukewarm water. There were 3 of us, yet only 2 sets of towels that looked very worn. The construction debris was hazardous and not kept tidy. Nails were sticking up on wood thrown outside the entrance/exit to the breakfast room. There was a large ceiling fan stored in the hall near our room. There was a vending machine, but it was empty. Our room overlooked a wall. There was water damage on the ceiling of the shower. There was no elevator and we had to lug our suitcases up to the 2nd floor. We could have dealt with it, had it been a budget price, but we paid more money than I have ever spent on a hotel, even a 5 star hotel. It was during a Penn State football game weekend, but the hotel is 25 minutes from campus and definitely not worth the premium price paid. When I tried to talk to the manager/owner upon checkout, he said he would "see what he could do," but then walked away and subsequently wouldn't return emails or phone calls. When Travelocity intervened, he told them there was "no problem at all" with our stay. Really?!?

Dear Marnie, We thank you for taking the time to offer the feedback. We understand why you are giving us this bad rating. You made a booking on a non-refundable prepay Penn State Weekend. You wanted to cut one night off and stay one night only and wanted us to return the money. We refused to do that as it is against the terms of the booking. We are sure you don't like our decision, but we are in the business, and we have mouths to feed. If you don't know how to read the terms & conditions of the booking when you make online, may be you should not be making booking online. You chose the booking dates, and we serviced you for the booking dates. Please do not use Travelocity as a bully pulpit to denounce us as a bad hotel just because we refused to dance to your tunes. Wishing you and your family an amazing day and life ahead. You may not believe it, we do care for all our guests. If you had an issue, you should have come and told us at the front desk. You did not. I am so sorry but this was the worst place I have ever been to! Completely dirty. Front of the hotel the roof caved in. No toilet paper or soap in the bathroom. Bathroom light was burned out and didn’t work. Floor needed vacuuming. They didn’t know what they were doing. Check in process took an hour…

Horrible horrible place waited 2 1/2 hours just to check in, and there were others that were waiting even longer, the place was completely filthy. Please avoid this place at all costs, it should be a kind of regulatory inspeccion on places like this. This place should be closed immediately

I want my money back. Check in was at 3pm and room was not ready at 8pm. The line was out the door and no one even helped me.

The staff was fantastic! Very cordial, professional and efficient. The room was clean and perfectly fine. The facility itself needs attention. It could do with a good deep cleaning (inside) and the outside desperately needs a facelift. But if you’re looking for a very affordable place with nice staff and a perfectly acceptable room to stay the night - this is a great place.
