We spent minimal time at the condo because we were there to enjoy time out & about in the area. The condo itself was very disappointing, honestly. After reading all the wonderful reviews I was sure we were walking into an immaculate, awesome property. Not so! I do realize it's an older property and in need of some updating which is understandable. I also understand that the spot on the ceiling is where there had been a leak, and the dishwasher not working was also understandable. These things happen. The lack of cleanliness and obvious long-term negligence of some areas was not acceptable. For instance, the mattress on the platform bed had obviously not been cleaned around in quite some time. There was what appeared to be popcorn and dirt, hair, etc, and too much of it for it to be recent. The frame of the bed was actually dirty and had not been washed off. The mildew around the tub was pretty bad. (The tub drain is also very slow, so if you're in the shower longer than a minute you're standing in water.) It could very easily be a nice little place if it were cleaner. The balcony area was nicely furnished with chairs and a table. The entry door does have a problem closing properly, but once you know you know. (please enlarge the photos so that you can see what I'm talking about)

It is off the strip so there were loud cars that would drive by and it woke us up each night. Pillows were way too soft. Blankets are more like thick sheets. Host could stand to invest in some heavier blankets for people who need more warmth. Thee was only one wash cloth available and no toiletries for our family of three. Contacted host and they said that the cleaning crew must have missed that part. Host was very communicative and went above and beyond to assist us with a matter after our stay. I wouldn't stay here again because it was too small for our family of three and I need to make sure there are proper bathing necessities. But I'm sure other people will find it suitable.

September vacation

Everything was perfect until we had to evacuate due to a hurricane. The host contacted us immediately and we were very pleased. Hope to go back again, just not in hurricane season. We had insurance and are having trouble getting a refund for our unused nights. Any help would be appreciated.

Condo was well equipped and met our needs. Owners are great communicators. We were thankful they let us bring our fur babies. Perfect place and location

Loved the place ….Very pleased with the stay, owners communicated from beginning to end. Very close to restaurants and shops. Room was exactly as stated , wish TV was a little bigger but it worked well. Nice area! Only issue we had was The elevator didn’t want to go down on certain days. But other days it worked fine . I was overly impressed with the communication of the owner/ host. Very accommodating, even allowed me to check in early due to flight. Also changed the coffee keurig to a coffee pot, because I drink more than a cup or two. Always responsive. Cute little place , decorated nicely. The only downfall was the construction noise. There was construction in the building , to the south of the Yacht club ( complete demolition of a building ) and to the North of the building . So all around, I feel this should have been disclosed prior to booking. I didn’t spend too much time in the condo, which was helpful, but it made it very distracting when trying to have coffee or relax on the deck. I loved the use of the bicycle, as it allowed me access to exercise and exploring. I loved Sand key and spent most of my time there. Clearwater was nice to see/ visit, but much too crowded for my taste, if you do go try and get to N. Clearwater beach. Overall good stay: and awesome hosts. They accomodate and left a cute little snack basket w/ coffees and creamers. Also, they aren’t like other VRBO’s who say they leave you 1 TP and 1 Paper towel. They definitely stock you up.

Perfect little property to stay at in what i felt was a quiet part of the area. It was safe to walk some at night and has the best little breakfast spot across the street. Very close to multiple beaches and easy area to navigate.

Pet friendly, just use leash. Sunrises over the marina are not to be missed. Everything is close to the condo. Bring coffee pods, no drip coffee maker. Very clean. Owner made certain mother had a step stool to help with getting into bed.
