Very unprofessional

Once I landed in St Pete I message the host and asked for the code to get in when it was time for check in. The host then messages me and informs me that he had canceled my reservation without reaching out to me to inform me of the cancellation. Because he had sold the house to a friend. Very unprofessional of him. So we were left with no place to stay. So our vacation was a nightmare. Not sure that I will ever book through VRBO again. I was told that their booking team would find us another place or stay. The only thing the booking team did was send me an email with a link to Expedia for me to find a place myself. Which was of no help. So our vacation was a nightmare from the time our flight landed in St. Petersburg
