They were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the location and all the amenities. Close to the beach. We used the beach chairs. They could use a update, but it was nice to have chairs at the beach. Very clean and lots of room. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Great location!

Great place for families. Full kitchen, 2.5 bath. Laundry services daily if needed & also has washer/dryer. Walking distance to most food & shopping. Be on the beach in 2 minute walk!Suggestions:More dishes & bigger bowls & pans, pizza cutter. Other than that it was great!

Location is great for setting up on the beach everyday. We utilized the rooftop pool. We walked downtown daily for restaurants and shopping. Great sunsets.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was always cleaning, the coffee bar was great, and access to beach toys was really convenient for our kids. We wished a step stool was available because our kids couldn’t reach any of the sinks to wash their hands. But all of the other amenities made up for it. We look forward to returning!

Amazing place and amazing location

Our stay at the Avalon was perfect. Our condo was very spacious and clean. Customer service was top notch and all staff were very friendly. They provide umbrellas, chairs and towels which are all in very good condition. Just steps away from the beach which was exactly what we wanted. Also walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and the Pier. Parking on site was a plus. I do feel the price of parking per day was a bit high for the price you pay for the condo. Should be lowered a bit. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great stay!

Good customer service but it was not what we booked

It's a beautiful building and welcoming however the photos in the listing that we booked was not what we got. The front desk manager tried to talk around the issue like she didn't know and blamed it on VRBO. But I looked at every listing I knew what condos cost more and what to expect. It was clean but it was not what we paid for. They did refund us money per night to make up for the mistake and said it was VRBO who got the photos confused. We booked a deluxe suite and the complex had us as a standard.Not cool for the price.However it is within walking distance of restaurants and the beach. We had a great time just probably overpaid bc our view was of some solar panels on someone's roof not a side view of the ocean. We saw nothing of the ocean from our balcony-Also the pool is very small-The pictures are deceiving and the pool bar does not have a stocked bar-They couldn't even make us margaritas.Not sure what that was about?

Clearwater family getaway

I booked this condo for a family getaway for me and my guy and our adult children/one grandchild. From the moment we got there, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The suite was nice and had 2 full bathrooms and one half bath. We also used the pull out couch. We loved the coffee bar and used it every day! So convenient to use the beach chairs and umbrellas every day also. The rooftop bar area is so nice with gorgeous views! The beach itself was just beautiful. We found lots of shells and sand dollars. The Palm and Frenchys are very close for dinner, as well as clear sky and lots of others. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We had an amazing time at The Avalon and would definitely stay here again!

Family Beach Trip

Overall, the location was perfect for us. The walk across to the beach was so easy and we loved having access to the beach chairs, towels and sand toys. What was also a nice touch was being able to get fresh towels every morning. The coffee bar was great and so was the rooftop pool. It was smaller than what we expected, but was warm and salt water. We spoke with Karen regarding our room and she was courteous and offered a nice incentive for us. Everyone at the front desk was pleasant and kind. We'd return to this property but next time we'd get the ocean view rooms. The parking was very convenient too and we all felt safe. Our room was very nice, clean and perfect for 4 guests. We wouldn't change a thing except we wished we had stayed longer!
